BEFORE THE WORLD BURNS
A collection of photos from the American West that I made in the spring of 2024 while driving across the country, living out of my car for two months. 12,000 miles, 16 national parks, 18 states and 49 rolls of film later, here is my visual journal of an unforgettable trip.
Before the World Burns is my love letter to the natural world. The photos will take you from the deserts and canyons of the Southwest, to the mystical, diverse beauty of California, into the rainforests and rugged coastlines of the Pacific Northwest, up into the mountain states with glaciers and mountain peaks that seem to touch the sky itself, to the alien landscape that is Yellowstone and a few hidden corners in between.
My hope is that it brings you a second of stillness in a chaotic world, an appreciation for all the beauty there is out there and a reminder of the importance of preserving these wild places.
